Pops, Nae Nae, and Aunt Jen's

We headed up to Nocona straight from Grandmommy's house so that we could celebrate with Pops, Nae Nae, and Aunt Jen. Laney slept nearly the whole way in the car, so when she woke up it was like a whole other Christmas morning!!

She sat with Nae Nae (and some goldfish) for lots of the present opening!Laney helped me open lots of her fabulous gifts, like this giant floor puzzle. It was double sided. And Aunt Jen and I had lots of fun putting it together. Laney liked the finished product!

Laney was practicing her forward rolls on their giant cowhide rug. She seems undeterred by the
hard floors, but the forward roll definitey needs some perfecting.

Laney was very interested in playing with her Great Grandaddy! I love when she gets to see him. He always calls her "Sugar" which I totally love!!!
Laney got some really cute books that she was enjoying right away!! Hanging out with Pops. Pops calls Laney, Bugsy (a derivative of Laney Bug), and as soon as he sees her, he starts calling for her. He loves to have her in his lap.
Laney loves to make the "Neven Face" I named this face after a student that I had five years ago who always made this face when I asked him a question. Any question, it was so funny. That kid was cute!!! Laney and Nae Nae were in full out Neven Face mode!
Laney got a horsie from Pops and Nae Nae and this guy is not messing around. He is pretty close to life size! (okay maybe that is an exaggeration, but it is pretty awesome) Laney loved bouncing on it at first, but then we turned the sound on, and the clip clopping kind of scared her. Her cousins came over and played on it the other day which of course gave her a renewed interest in HER toy!
Laney, wearing the cutest sweater dress and tights ever, helped Nae Nae make some of her highly sought after sugared pecans.

Who needs toys. Look at Aunt Jen's fun laundry basket. Todd said that the highlight of Laney's visit was getting to ride in the farm truck with Pops and go see all the horses and cows.

No. 1 you are up way too early to be posting. Wow! We had such a great time and enjoyed having you all for a couple of days. Sorry that the joke wasn't funny and backfired. We love you all very much, and if you get a chance, I need a copy of these pictures because mine all got deleted before I could have them printed. I love you!

It is so neat to see your little girl opening Christmas presents. We have been following your adoption story from the beginning. I came across your blog while we were waiting for our little guy too. We just brought him home the weekend before Christmas. Blessings!
