Museum!

The week after our afternoon zoo trip, we took another quick end of the day trip to the Museum.  We grabbed Laney and Madeline after school and made our way to the Museum for a little over an hour before they closed.
We started at the Dinosaur slide in the gift shop.  I had to ration our time, since we didn't have much.  They played for a while before I ushered them out and down to the play area!

The beloved grocery store was first!

These two had such fun together racing around from station to station!

I love my life!!!

Zoo!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to the zoo after school one afternoon.  Laney gets bummed when we do "fun" things without her, so we decided to grab her as soon as the bell rang and scoot out to the zoo for the last hour and a half of the day!  We had lots of fun and took exactly zero pictures!  The next week, the brothers begged to go back because they really wanted to go to Texas Wild, so we went back, this time with the camera!
We always like to take pictures of the baby monkey.  This baby is slow growing.....and so so cute!

My movie loving kids have landed on Tarzan lately, so this big gorilla instantly got named, Kerchek (obviously not sure on spelling there)
We walked from the monkey house straight to Texas Wild which is a path that doesn't have a lot of animals to view.  Sam and his poochy lip were sad about it!
The brothers were so excited to play in the barn for a long long time!  We don't usually spend much time in there, but it was all they wanted to do!

We made to the crocodiles area and Sam found some facts to listen to.
More phone facts, but the brothers were definitely having full fledged conversations with someone on the other end of those phones.  I am not sure who it was, but they were getting very expressive!!

Train ride back to the front, please!

Spring Fling

Laney's school carnival was a couple of weeks ago and we had lots of fun!!  We got there and ran right into Laney's sweet friend Molly!  We sat down for some cotton candy and got nice and sticky!!

The Paredes family arrived and got their own cotton candy!
Then we hit the games.  They were set up in classrooms all over the school.  The brothers loved playing.  Laney was more of a supportive bystander!

We ran into Masynn, Laney's huggiest friend!!!

 Tattoos for everyone!

 Cake Walk...we didn't win!
This clown really really really freaked Laney out.  A lot!!!
Each classroom is responsible for creating a basket for the silent auction.  This was our class' basket.  A Mother/Daughter Cupcake Baking Basket.  Virginia bid on it and won!  I had to get a picture of it because the creation of it totally ate my lunch!  But it turned out so cute!!!!
